Title: MAME32 0.53 will not display snapshots

Hello there,
As the title implies I got MAME 0.53 running strikingly well on a 27" vertical cab, using only a Pentium 2 400mhz with GeForce card running Win98 the games all run at full speed.

But I can't get the snapshots to display...

It's not a matter of the MAME files as I have the same files on my computer (running Win2000) and the snapshots display.

I installed a graphics program (just in case it was a PNG codec issue) and I installed DirectX9, but they still won't display...

Any tips?

did you make sure you have the correct directory listed in the directory settings.
Options>Directories>Roms

Yes,
I made sure it was pointing towards "snap" using the 'browse' button.

I also tried unzipping the PNG files, but that too didn't work.

I would try reinstalling mame.
or go to joymonkey's web sight and get mame 56
I have never had this problem
I only say mame 56 becouse that is the one I have on most of my cabs
