Title: Lcd and CRT mame vid output issues..
Post by: delta88 on April 22, 2005, 02:29:59 am
ok,
when I play mame on my laptop the games always fit on the screen and look great as far as whre they need to be. now on certain crts I have the same cna be said.. now I have a few crts that display games off center, very small(lots of blakc around the game) and other things like I can never get the game to go fulscreen.

Im sure that the LCd has some crazy auto adjust going on but what canbe said for the crts that work ok andthen the ones that show it all funky like.....

and on another note I have a k7000 series with a avga and I generated the .inis for the games and a ton of games still "flip" and it seems like I cna never get everything to be ok... wither it flips or is to small and when I adjust it to fullscreen if I play a game or go to the Fe depending on where I adjusted the pic it will flip or start to curve back up on itself...

baaah!

For the CRT issues, is this all with the same video card?

I've had only a couple of similar issues but I was able to make adjustments either to CRT controls or to vid card soft controls to resolve each of them.

well i have a pIII 733 with on board video and a athlon 1.2 with a Nvidia 64mb card in it right next to it.. both of them do it.sometimes I have to have the pc with the nvidia run in a window for the game to display.

I have had this happen on other pc's.. Just curious why the laptop always can play the games fullscreen at the perfect size and what not.
