Some day, very likely yes.
In the immediate future, no.

I think Virtua Tennis has a PC port that may be worth checking out. Some PC arcade titles work great on a cab. After much messin' around, I got Virtua Fighter II PC to run like a champ on my controls. Since both are Sega, you might have some luck.

I'm with ya Marky_1979 mvc2 all the way. Instead mamedev seems to think we all want porno games as that is what they appear to focus on turning out!!! haha.

For some odd reason they think naomi games are still making money at some 3rd world country arcades so don't want nothing to do with it. Sounds silly to me.

Its a real pity as these games are quite old when you look at it i cant imagine powerstone or marvel vs capcom raking in the money they once did anymore. Enough with the porn lets have these games i guess i can only dream of the day when i have a working version of virtua striker 2  :'(

If Naomi games were added to MAME, they'd run like a bag of hell soaked in molasses. You'll have to wait for the Chankast team to release a stand alone emulator for arcade hardware (they promised one at least) :)

MvC2 is still quite prominent in arcades, and selling well on consoles.  Yes, they do still make money for their disributors, and no, a MAME version wouldn't be a good thing just yet.

If you really want it that bad, buy them on your favourite console.  The money you spend on them will go towards more games development by you favourite game manufacturers in the future, which is good for all of us.

NAOMI hardware is still very prominant in arcades. Games like InitialD and Virtua NBA, and Virtua Golf are all top notch games in their genre. The Dreamcast games are ports. The actuall NAOMI hardware is like Dreamcast on steroids.

This is an interesting topic. I'm interested how it turns out. mamedev got ten's of developers and resources and ignore naomi. Then they have this one chankast guys with his chankast emulator. My money's on the chankast guy cause he don't seems to care if dreamcast on steroids is making money or not. There is work being done to get that dreamcast emu to boot the naomi bios I think guru was helping. Now with haze out the way here's hoping what he makes comes to market before mame does anything about it. I like mame just don't think they should spend any more time documneting and investigating all of the below because nobody wants them.
