Title: Game store promo art
Post by: tommy on April 21, 2005, 07:41:47 am
I got a Resident Evil card board promo stand from game stop, can these be worth anything in years to come, and does anybody collect these. They have to be pretty rare as there not something you can buy.

Looks like your spare room is your bathroom?  Is that a toilet in the pic?  Don't send your guests in there - you'll scare the crap out of 'em! (at least they'll be in the right place...).  ::)

Some of these have to be worth something, maybe an old Mario standup, was there standups like these when Mario was introduced?

New ones aren't worth much more htan the cost of a 6 pack or a pizza... old ones are obviously worth more, but it has to be a good game.

You have any idea how much people offer for these things?

LoL..

Certain items get crazy numbers thrown around man.. we had a few people offer 100+ for star wars ones, the halo 2 one got an offer for 300, ect ect.. the run of the mill game, a pizza or free, but those "big name" games attract fanboys with money to burn..

hell the World of Warcraft one that was a "statue" ended up getting sold for 500 bucks or so.. same with the halo guy that was plastic..

This is the funniest thing I'm going to read all day. Might as well go back to bed now, the rest of the day can only be a dissapointment from here.
