Title: An Easy name the game one.

This should be an Easy one for you guys.
 
There was a shooter I used to play in the arcades, where 2 Players can play at the same time and at some point not sure if you had to pickup a power pill first but both ships could merge together to make a super ship.

But the catch was, when the ships were merged....One player could only move the ship......while the other player could only Fire.  Which made it akward.
 
I dont think it was Raiden either.

ohhhh.... ohhh... I know... I know....

after merged... you shoot like v shape stuffs...

and after each round... you go back to a mother ship...

damm.... if I'm home... I'd know.....

the energy pills have letters on it... right ???....

Errrrr...... but I don't remember the name....
*** sigh ***.....

ok... my brain doesn't work well today....

The Graphics were very much like Raiden but I dont think you can merge ships in raiden? or can you?
 
The ships were either Red and Green or Red and BLue again typical Raidne Like ships.

The one that comes to mind is Blasteroids.  I hate to think about how much money I spent playing THIS game!

OK, that game seems way familiar. I have no idea what it's called though. Maybe when hyiu gets home, he'll be able to remember.

It's not Raiden, it's just a vertical shooter (all vertical shooters are 'like' Raiden, because Raiden is a vertical shooter) However in Raiden II, if you have the blue beam and get behind the other player, the beam splits into a 'V' when it hits the other player. I don't think it's Blasteriods either, that's just a souped-up Asteriods.

Gah, I think this came out for a console too.

have not gone home yet.... but as I was half asleep sitting at my desk waiting for the week to end... I suddenly remember....

that game.... you don't have bomb.... your bomb is like a rollver where you'll fly with "shadows"...... to avoid the enemy for a short time ??...

is that the game you're talking about ??.... it'll say in the bottom like "rollover ready" (or something like that) ??.... and you can have like a thing to attach to you for increased fire power (or something ??....)
