Title: Defender Cabinet
Post by: Ler6557 on April 19, 2005, 07:43:20 pm
Does anybody know if the Defender Cabinet is big enough to fit a Wells Gardner K7400 25" Monitor. If so will a bezel fit well or will it have to be trimmed down a lot?

I have a defender cab...
although I only have a 21" PC monitor in it,
I think its safe to say that a 25" would not fit, considering
the width of the control panel (and the side cabinet panels) is only 24"

Remember that is 25" diagonal for the tube so I wouldn't count it out so fast.

Yes, you CAN refit a Defender with a 25" monitor. All the prototype models (same cabinet as production), had 25" ones. You will have to move the monitor shelf DOWN a few inches. It might even clear the back.

As for a bezel, standard plain happ's 25" Bezel (which will have to be trimmed to fit, just like in any bezel install), behind plexi, smoked plexe, glass, or smoked glass will be fine.

A real Defender graphical bezel won't work in that application.
