Title: Best way to clean & lube trackball bearings?
Post by: markrvp on April 19, 2005, 06:00:32 pm
I have an older Betson Imperial 3" trackball that is dirty on the inside.  There is some dirt and grime on the rollers and bearings.  Could somebody please tell me the best way to clean the bearings and rollers?  Also what is the best lubricant to use and how should I apply it?

I usually use denatured alcohol.
It cleans well, and then flashes off--leaving no residue.
As long as it doesn't leave residue, pretty much anything will work.

3-in-1 oil, and very lightly.
