Title: Project64: Select Controller on launch?

Is it possible to select the controller when launching an N64 game(with Project 64 v1.6) with MameWah.

Ideally I would like to launch racing games with the wheel as the controller, but maybe other games with the digital control panel or maybe an analogue stick
