I know there's alot of people who use Visio, but would Adobe Illustrator be good too? Or would it actually be better? I'm gonna tinker around with it a bit and see what I can do, but I'm gonna need the the dimensions of the pushbuttons, Competition joysticks, and 3" trackball. I suppose that the best way to get those would be to just plain buy the parts and measure them myself, but does anyone know where I can find the dimensions so that I don't need to wait to get started on my templates? I've already ordered the trackball, but I don't know when it's gonna arrive, so I may as well just try and read the dimensions online. Or better yet, if someone else has already made a control panel using the Happs Competition joysticks, it'd be real handy if I could borrow the joystick, button, and trackball illustrations and augment them onto my own. If anyone can help, I'd be really appreciative. :)

i personally was just gonna take all teh templates off the project arcade cd and cut \ paste them into paint or something

Maybe that's what I should do. I'm hoping to go to Barnes and Noble today and pick up a copy, if I can make time.

Timstuff I used both Visio, and Illustrator.
I have the illustrator file, though all the controls seem to be grouped together in it, and will not ungroup (it was a Visio file exported to .svg then imported into Illustrator), but you can always trace out what you need for your template, I

I just got the book, but I haven't gotten to check the CD because my brother refuses to stop playing The Sims 2.
Rgecko, my e-mail adress is tim@oikourgos.com. If you could send me the file, that'd be just dandy. :)
