Title: Question about printing sideart

I have some questions about having sideart printed on vinyl. Can it be printed on clear vinyl so that the cabinet color will show through on parts of the picture that have the same color? If so, will the rest of the sideart colors be effected by the cabinet color?(like make them darker or something)
