What were the actual Joysticks for all the metal slug arcade games?
Thanks

From what I've read the Neo-Geo cabinets used Happ's Supers.

Actually they usually had the worst ones, not the Supers but those ones with the smooth shiny shafts.

Oh, well I guess everybody replaces them with Supers then. ;D

All Metal Slugs I've seen were Taiwanese bootlegs, so, i guess "SUPER ULTRA RED BALL JOYSTICK GAMING"... J/K... I guess the only real Neo-Geos I've seen had Supers, or Spain style Taiwanese sticks (which is about the same as supers) that ended up in there, so... I dunno...

My NEO-GEO had some ultra crappy generic 8ways. I replced them with Supers and there's about a 10000% improvement in game play. Metal Slug plays great with those sticks.

AFAIK, Metal Slug boards are normally fitted to generic jamma-style cabinets so I don't know if there really is a correct joystick.
I've played Metal Slug in an arcade with a Suzo 500/Omnistick and it felt very responsive.

I'm confused, I thought Metal Slug was a neo-geo mvs cart not a board.

You're probably right.
