www.tinyurl.com offers a URL shortener, I think.   Your URL is fine anyways.

This forum has a built in url shortener...

do it like this:

{url=http://www.yoururl.com/etc}YOUR LINK WORDS{/url}

Do that, but replace the parentheses with square brackets [ instead.

Here's what the above looks like when using the square brackets:
YOUR LINK WORDS (http://www.yoururl.com/etc)
