Title: PLAYER 2 5TH AND 6TH BUTTON NOT WORKIN?

I have a mame cabinet, and i have everything wired up properly.  When i play games though my 2nd player 5th and 6th button do not do anything.  Im using mamewah, and an ipac.  I know its picking up the keys because i will open up note pad and press a button,and "I" will come up as the 5th and "K" will come up as the 6th.  Someone please help me out on this one,

Go into MAME, hit tab, pick player controls then player two, set buttons 5 & 6 as they are not default-set by MAME

Yeah, wut he said..... i found this out a looooong time ago.  Mame has been that way for as long as I can remember but never knew why.

Thanks that got it working. I only have one more issue.  I have two free buttons on the bottom of my panel, and i have working coin door.  If i have the grounds off of the coin door the free buttons work, and if i have the grounds on the coin door my coin door works but my free buttons dont. They are bothed wired into the coin1 and coin2 slots on my ipac.  Any ideas?

Wire separate grounds possibly dunno why but that may fix it.  Like daisy-chain the buttons to the other wiring, but use a separate wire to ground the coin doors.  Or try grounding in parallel-have it go from teh last connection back to the I-Pac, as it could be a button shorting something our or some other issue like that, remember tho IANAE this is just some ideas.
