Title: help need wire from UK
Post by: IreM72 on April 11, 2005, 06:29:51 pm
Hi,

For wiring up the control panel:

Does anyone Know of any companies etc. that sell rolls of 22-gauge hook-up wire in the UK at a good price?

also .187 quick-connects?

Thanks

Wire:  any electronics store, its probably cheaper than anywhere else you can get because of shipping.
Disconnects:  Peale, he needs some interest to place an order.

Heck, I can do both.  I don't know about the shipping, though.  Let's see what the flat-rate is...

Hey, not bad.  Flat rate is $5.00 in the small envelope.

Just FYI, I'm pretty sure you can pick up disconnects of any size at places like Maplins, or mail order from radioshack/CPC etc...

Also any car-parts dealer usually carries disconnects.

Having said that, with only $5 shipping you may find its cheaper to from Peale - its very easy to pay over the odds for this stuff unless you are buying in serious bulk...

Maplins for the wire, very cheap.

They may have the quick disconnects but certainly available from Andy at ultimarc in the wiring kit.
