Title: Loosen up the T-Stick Plus?
Post by: electricd on April 10, 2005, 11:13:16 am
Ok, I know this has been discussed at least a dozen times, but lets make it a bakers dozen!  I just got my T-Stick plus installed into my panel and first replaced the switches on the bottom with plain-jane happ switches from my Happ Super.  The controller itself is genius for guys like me with no room for a dedicated stick, and no time to build another panel.  However, the thing is SO TIGHT!  Is there a better way to loosen it up besides just replacing the switches?  I don't might the short throw distance, but am having a hard time adjusting to the tightness.  Is there a spring inside that can be replaced or something?  Anything!  Thanks in advance!

There is a spring inside that creates that tension.
It CAN be replaced, but I'm not sure where to get a spring to replace it.

You might try pulling yours out, and checking some of the local hardware stores for a similar sized spring with more flex to it.

I haven't ever done it because the heavy pressure is good for some games.
For those that it isn't, I use different sticks.
