Are you sure it's not a red trackball?  If you put a light behind it, I think it should glow red.  They just look orange when not lit.

Yeah... someone sniped my in the last minute... sigh..

of course I didn't bid much..

and I couldn't be there at the end...

And I really didn't need it...

and my wife is already getting annoyed at me for buying stuff...

But at least the shipping would have stayed in the country :)
