Title: Jog Wheels
Post by: Trimoor on April 06, 2005, 02:18:00 am
Does anyone know where to get jog wheels?  They're used as a volume knob in newer stereo equipment, the kind that turn continuously.  I tried Digi-Key and Mouser, but no one seems to have them.

Something like this -

BTW, I just remembered people on here saying they didn't work well for MAME and the Griffin made the example ones.

You could probably find a better price by googling for Powermate or Griffin (or both)

Looks neat, but I was referring to just the jog wheel sensor component, not a complete unit.  And I would be using it in my custom jukebox, not MAME.  Anyone?

What you are looking for is an "optical encoder" or at least that is one name for them.
