Title: skip_startup_frames / fast_startup_frames

There used to be a number of mame patches on that page, and how to apply them to the source yourself. Unfortunately, that page isn't there anymore (now its just a MameTweaks.zip file for new versions of MAME). I was wondering if anyone had saved the page before alank2 started distributing them as a program? I would like to apply them to an old(-er) version of MAME myself, but since that page isn't there, I can't do it.

Any help anyone?  :)

I wonder what made him do that. The new zip file uncompresses into an EXE and my text editor claims that the EXE is PK file - presumably a self extracting archive... But since I don't have a windows machine handy it's hard to say.

Here's the old zip that uncompresses into a folder of files:
