Title: Transparent Microswitch buttons??

I found this today and am very interested.....

However I was wondering if there were transparent microswitch buttons available as opposed to leaf switches and also peoples opinions as to which are best??

Centsible Amusement Sells some.  But the Micro-Switches aren't included with the buttons.

Those buttons are convex, not concave. They are more like japanese Sanwa buttons than traditional north american buttons.

also, watch out about the leaf switches, they can't be installed in a 3/4 inch cp.  they were ment for metal panels.


I have several wooden panels with leaf switches on them, what are you talking about?  The leaf switch doesn't know or care what kind of material it's mounted to, nor how thick.  Your leaf button has to be long enough to reach through the wood, is all- which is why they come in more than one length.  Or, if you have buttons that don't reach, you can just rout out some wood.

sorry, i understood that even the long leaf switches couldn't be mounted in 3/4 inch wood without routering.
