Title: powering the T-amp off of a PC power supply
Post by: krick on April 05, 2005, 01:42:02 am
The T-Amp specs say that it will work off of a 12 Volt / 2 amp  power supply...

An ATX power supply will do 12 volts.  But I think it's more than 2 amps.

Is there some way to make this work?

The current rating on your supply needs to be greater or equal to what is required by the device.  So if your ATX supplies more than 2 amps at 12v it will work fine.
