Title: MP3 in OLDer version of LAZARUS

Hey
I am running the previous version of Lazaurs, made default.m3u and it wont play. I remember that Howard said I had to edit the playlist in note pad or soemthing?? anyone recall what it was you had to do???? which winamp version should i use anyone assist?

no winamp versions no nothing... if you are talking about the screensaver, it no longer supports background music

Hey,
No I used to be able to have a mp3 list play in the backgorund while I looked over my roms. Not the new 4.0 version, i mean the one before.. I just forget how to do it. Also still wondering how I can have an EXE run from it?? can u hlp?

Hi,
I got it working I had to go into the background.m3mu and add the drive letter to it. :)

Maybe someone could answer my Q about getting a new version of mame to work? just the process.. do i delete the dat and catver and put new mame into the mame dir?? and rerun generate list? I am not sure.

keep the catver, remove the dat... make sure the mame.cfg file is pointed to mame so lazarus will know where to find it and then regenerate your lists.

Hey thanks Howard I will try that when I get home! Also I was wondering how do I set it up so LAZ can run an EXE? like when I change emulators I could have an Emulator in the list like MP3 jukebox, and when I hit start it runs the program? I am really not sure how to do it. I have the older Lazarus running good now...I am not sure I will go to 4.0 just yet,
