Title: FS: 12 Key pad illuminated keypad
Post by: jsomethin on April 02, 2005, 03:21:01 pm
I bought this for my jukebox, but have had to cancel that project. It's a Storm p/n: GSRG120203. Bought it from Digi-Key p/n: MGR1569-ND.

It's a really nice unit. Digi-Key sells it for 43.09 plus shipping/handling. It's brand new, never been used so I'll offer it up for 35.00 plus shipping.

Email me at jerryDOTjantzATgmailDOTcom if you have any questions or if you want it. I don't check the forums often so it's easiest to get in touch with me via email.

Thanks!

-j

I'm interested, but not real familiar with this type of interface.  If I'm thinking right I would need a storm "keypad interface" card as well to tie this into my jukebox computer, or is there another way.  I'll probably e-mail J about this as well, but thought there might be others around here with more suggestions.

Thanks much,

John

Looks like according to the site that this is not a usb or a ps-2
and does require a card they do make them that do not require a card check out  http://www.tigerdirectt.com They are a full fledged seller of their products. You have the price right. But it won't work with the average PC or program as a hole and alone. Bu that's not to say its not a bad deal if you can't get rid of it(Let ME KNOW). I will take it/

If it is a simple switch matrix, it should be trivial to hook up to a keyboard hack.... anyone have a spec sheet on it?
