My cron job pre-fetches the images from each of the following web sites each day (in no particular order):
Dilbert (http://www.dilbert.com/)
User Friendly (http://www.userfriendly.org/)
Calvin and Hobbes (http://www.calvinandhobbes.com/)
Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/)
Ctrl+Alt+Del (http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/)
Order of the Stick (http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript)
(and the latest McAfee update too, but that's probably not as much fun)
Dilbert (the documentary) and Calvin & Hobbes (the contraceptive) tend to the most widely read strips. But depending upon whether or not you like people like Jay & Silent Bob you may also find Penny Arcade and Ctrl+Alt+Del amusing. Order of the Stick is strictly for table-toppers, and User Friendly is only funny if you've ever worked help desk and the author isn't stuck for material that week.
Have you considered reading America's finest news source (http://www.theonion.com/)? ;)
