I think the space between the run buttons is about 3" to 4" (maybe 3 and a half?)

Look at the pic here: http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=&game_id=10180

Jakobud has the plans for the cocktail version of T&F on his site (http://www.jakobud.com/).  The plans show 2.5" between buttons with the middle button being 1.25" higher than the other two.  I have a control panel for the upright version at home I can check as well tonight.

Edit:  Please note that the distance is measured from the center of the buttons/holes.

Do you mean 2.5" between the run and the jump? Cuz that sounds like a small distance if you are talking about the two RUN buttons

If you did not understand my explaination, check out the plans.  ;)

There are three buttons for each player.  Run  Jump  Run.  The horizontal distance between the center of the Run and the center of the Jump button is 2.5", the horizontal distance between the center of the Jump button and the center of the Run button is 2.5".  The vertical difference between the center of the Jump button and either of the Run buttons is 1.25".

The main point of my post was to direct the original poster to Jakobud's website where he could download the plans to the cabinet, which includes the control panel spacing.
