Title: Arcadia Lazarus skin
Post by: Davestar on November 14, 2002, 05:55:25 pm
I've ported an Arcadefx skin originally created by Magnet_eye to Lazarus.  It originally was part of Dave Dries movie, and is reused with permission from him.  I sent Howard a note, but he must be busy with lazarus 7.0 as he is yet to respond, so I put it on my website temporarily.

And the web address:http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dstarlin/arcadia/ (http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dstarlin/arcadia/)

Let me know what you think.

Hey,
That skin looks pretty cool! I will try it this weekend when I get home.

Yo, I was trying to make my old skin in Lazrus, but I can't get any snapshots, marquees, etc to work in Lazarus so I never finished it. :'(

Here is the background image I made, It is different than the old one, I centered the cabinet this time. I felt like seeing more of the games in the background.

Magnet_eye,
Did you see Howard's post saying you need to use regsvr from your system directory.  If you just replace the one he used with yours and run the bat file it will work.  I had the same problem until he posted that.

heh .. seems to be a popular choice for background  ;D

I put this in Lazarus a while back myself, so ... just for reference on different possible looks with it:

How about this variation based off of Magnet_Eye's other background?

hehe, exactly what I am going to do with my FE, put my cabinet in it:)  But my graphic design friend is going to go all out, he is going to put galss over the snap and marquee so it looks like it REALLY is on my machine:)

Check your email.....

I didn't post it because Laz 4.0 will be out sometime today (or tomorrow) and the skin format has changed. Unfortunately bad timing on your part, but once you get the new version you'll find that it's easy to convert.  :)

Looks good and thanks for the submission.

Howard,
Look forward to the new version, and I'm used to having timing issues (among other issues) ;D  BTW I didn't get an email, It may be my service provider Comcast.
