Title: ArcadeVGA Flicker?
Post by: CRiMiNaL on March 29, 2005, 06:27:01 pm
Hey Guys & Gals,

Was wondering if you ArcadeVGA owners got visable flicker on your arcade monitors when you have the windows desktop to 640x480 interlaced?

Because i've tryed 3 video cards now with Powerstrip in both win98/winxp and i get horible flicker @ 640x480i

Thanks,

Scott M

Yup, I think thats the best you can hope for with interlaced.

Now if only I could figure out how to make a non-interlaced setting workable...seems like I can't reach the areas of a window that I need to with a lower setting selected.

I believe you can download the Tri-Sync Utility from the Ultimarc site to display non-interlaced at 640x480 if your monitor supports the non-interlaced resolutions.  I can't give you first hand info as I'm still finishing up my cab right now.
