Looking for the best deal on the coin collection device. Anywhere better than happs? I'd like to make my cabinet as authentic as possible without spending alot of money on this particular part.

The cheapest way is to buy used and clean it up. A wire brush and black paint does wonders.
Watch Ebay or hit your local arcade boneyard.......

Thanks snake but I'll have to pass. I've recently made the aquaintance of a local arcade restoration guy that regularly trashes cabinets. He's never heard of mame and is quite interested in it for cabinets that would otherwise get trashed. I'm hoping to do some knowledge swapping for parts.

Becareful if you paying for a used coin door. They are often missing a lot of stupid little parts. Like switches or springs or coin mechs. The springs aren't a huge deal because you can get them at the hardware store. But if the switches are missing you better hope bob roberts has them in stock otherwise you have to place a $25 order at happs for 2 coin door switches. And if doesn't have the coin mechs it's not really worth ordering anyways unless your getting it for pretty much free. Anyways my point here is that it's almost as cheap to buy them new as it is used.

Well yeah..i am about to trash this coin door too but $10 would be the work(if anyone was interested that is) to pack it then go to post office thats all.I mean I wont do that work for free right? ;).
It really is not worth getting the coin door i have because I found this for free then took out the lights for my main machine and about to throw it away anyways(its garbage).

I got two in bad condition with rust and such. I combined the two to form a complete one. I took a drill and a wire brush attachment to strip the paint and rust. and then repainted it. Look at my cabinet, looks pretty sweet. got them for about $5-$10 on ebay.

I had good luck throwing a "WTB: arcade coindoor" topic out on a local .forsale newsgroup. There are a surprising amount of arcade collectors out there more than willing to offload parts cheap.
