I picked up more than one of these and have run into a snafu... It turns out I am moving and in stead of possibly damaging this during the move I'd rather sell it.
It is a all in one computer w/ 10.4" touch screen LCD and built in TV tuner. This is ideal for making a bar top MAME. It comes with WIN98 loaded on it and has the following ports (CARDBUS, USB, PS2, Coaxial antenae, sound). It comes with a 10/100 cardbus ethernet card.
Its got a 400Mhz Celeron CPU and 128MB RAM (upgradeable)
You can see some additional pictures here (http://www.perfectidiot.com/4sale/touch/)
Feel free to ask questions
I'm looking to only get out of it what I have into it.
Asking price is $170 shipped in the US.

Are any of these still available? I'm interested.

the one I have for sale is spoken for. I can see if I can get more of them as the person I got it off of is local to me and they did have a couple more last time I checked.

Yeah, I'll be interested as long as it's 100% working. Can you post the exact dimensions of the viewable part of the LCD?
-sab
-
Will do.... when I get home from work in a few hours.
-Goz
-
The person I got mine from is checking to see if they have any other %100 working ones in storage. I likely will not hear back from them however until mid next week.

If he doesn't have any 100% working see if has any touchscreens that work and see how much he would want for one.
If you don't mind that is.

GOTTA ADMIT, IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT JUKEBOX

10.4" diagonal is the actual viewable area.

Any update on this?

As mentioned before, I likely wont hear back from him till middle of the week. Give it a couple of days..

I heard back from the source and they do have a couple more.
He's not interested in shipping the units though. I could serve as a middle man though if anyone really wants one.

How much are we talking? (Before Shipping costs?)

before considering these for a jukebox, you might want to find out the sound card in them. Many of those small devices had really really crappy sound if any.
but with usb, I believe you still have solutions.
And with another computer you could use it with a web based software (few out there)

I'm trying to negotiate a lower price, but the ones I purchased previously were at $165. The one I sold, I just covered the shipping to get it out....

They have AC97 sound built in (pretty much your standard built in audio).

Ok... here's what I've learned today...
He has 3 left and the price is $155 instead of $165
Again unfortunately the seller does not wish to ship.
If you are in the SF Bay Area it's a sweet deal.
I could probably buy them up and sell them to those that want em, but my wife wont be happy.

Make that 2 left :)

BTW, these rock. I got mine from Gozur and it works great! I havent loaded up any emulators yet, but at least using it for standard windows purposes has been fine! Now I gotta clear out the crap I dont need. ;)

There's a couple on e-bay that look to be the same thing if Gozur's supply runs dry:

Bumping this up for someone on E-bay who appears to have 20 of these right now for starting Bid $75 bucks + 10 bucks shipped.
Only thing is they don't come with power supply. He says he's supplying the pinout diagram for the wiring harness for power, ethernet, and sound so knowing this crowd, I'm sure a harness can be built to meet our needs.
Don't shoot the messenger, and please leave one for me! (Bidding as jntechnology)

If it is the same model, it will use a 24V power brick and one of the local electronics distributors here has them fairly cheap. Let me know if I can help
-Goz
-
Very interesting...
At those kind of prices, I might be interested in a couple. A harness would sure come in handy, though. That's a funky pin-out, though. That's the only thing keeping me from bidding. My question is, though, where do you find such a plug? I could wire one up, myself, if I had a plug.
And how can he be testing these things without such a plug? If that distributor of Gozur's has the proper plugs then we may be in busines.
Gozur, can you check the pictures on the auction to see if they match the same plug you're using?? If so, this'll be perfect. I'd like to know BEFORE I bid, though. How quickly could you find out, Gozur?
-
I shot him an e-mail asking if the pinout can be acquired online so that it can be viewed ahead of time.
I'll post it here if I get something.

Same Unit. Uses 24V brick. The use of the big round barrell connector is optional as all the ports youd want are already on the outside minus the ethernet which is card bus and is accessible by removing a small metal plate on the side.
You wont need the pinout as it is specific for the type of KIOSK this unit was made for. All ports are available externally. Power on the side of the unit. Next to the barrell plus is PS2 keyboard, PS2 mouse, Coax (antena), USB, and as mentioned ethernet is accessible from the side panel.
-Goz
-
I asked you this in an IM, but I'll ask again for everyone...
How about audio? Does that feed out throught the barrel too, or can that be extracted from a seperate port as well?
-
On the unit I have audio is another port which is the mini din (pc speaker / headphone style jack). I'll double check the pics again and look at the unit I have at home.
-
Now I might seriously have to buy a couple.
-
Thanks Gozur!
You know more about these units than the guy selling them, that much I can tell you based on the e-mail responses I'm getting back.
-
That connector looks an Amp or ITT/Canon military/aircraft style connector. There are hundreds if not thousands of different versions depending on the number and size of pins, security keying , etc.
Gozur, can you see if there's a part number printed around the outside of the connector?
-
That connector looks an Amp or ITT/Canon military/aircraft style connector.
-
Darnit... All of a sudden I find myself wishing I hadn't given away the kiosk for my touch screen jukebox. :)
The reason it lived in the garage was that it was just too darn heavy to make it upstairs. Without the crt monitor, though, that thing would be plenty lighter... Doh!

Only one bid has been made, and that's by someone here.
We're up to two bids ... both by people here (I'm just using my wife's eBay account ... and plan to use her Paypal account to pay for it !!!).
Cheers.
-
With people bidding, I doubt the price will come down even if the items are re-listed. I'd probably just go ahead and get one now if I were thinking about it. They're already a good deal. They're half the price of those originally mentioned in the thread. How cheap do you expect them to get? :)

-
Good deal, I'd grab a couple but no shipping to Canada.
You guys in the US should snatch these up.
-
Look at me! I'm a lemming! I'm buying a touch screen! ;D
-
We could start a special project thread to follow what everybody does with these things.
I've got mine bidded on (if "bidded" is a word). I want bare minimum, though. If I get out-bid, oh well. I don't really NEED one. I was just blinded by the coolness factor.
-
I am in for one.
Alan that's a good idea to track some projects. This crowd will prolly go way past just using it for bartops and jukes.
I've got a pcmcia wifi card that works with 98. anyone got any ideas on how to make this thing portable? rechargable?
I just wanna surf the net and watch movies in the can. ;D
ny
-
Its too heavy to really make it portable heh. But its a pretty cool device.
-
Its too heavy to really make it portable heh. But its a pretty cool device.
It is much heavier than say a tablet PC. Being as these are PII systems from a few years ago, they are of substantial weight.
BTW the TV tuner in these units are made by Phillips and appear to be the same that were on the all-in-wonder cards from a few years ago.
GameEx works really well as an interface as well as myHTPC.
-Goz
-
These remind me of the units that people build into walls for home automation.
Mine is likely going to be either a wireless internet terminal/TV for the kitchen or a mini Galaga. I have absolutely no need for a mini Galaga, but I just really want one.
If I do decide to make a jukebox, it'll be with an RF transmitter. I'd like to take advantage of this thing's small size. That way I could tune in my my massive stereo for major volume, but the jukebox, itself, won't take up much space.
-
Ok, I'm in. I'll have to have them shipped to my wifes grandmothers house in Indiana. Moving soon!

too heavy, oh well. maybe a permanent install in the bathroom then :)
any leads or suggestions on a 24V powersupply?
I have some old laptop power cords, would that work?

I'm pretty sure one of the local electronics stores near me has em. I'll swing by today after work and check. I need some molex connectors anyways,

[edit] added the following:
JAMECO (http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&searchType=k&searchValue=24vdc&categoryId=454050) appears to have them. Although I'd have to see one to determine the plug size. They appear to be between $6 and $15 bucks.
-
The ebay auction says 24V 3amp. The Jaleco's don't go that high, do they?
Art
-
Gozur, if you're offering to get ones that work and fit, and ship them , I'm in for two.
Art
Art,
If I can locate some locally. I would have no problem doing that. JAMECO is about 50 miles from my office. There are a couple of Electronics wholesalers like Excess Solutions however which are minutes from me. I will do some recon and report back.

Thanks Gozur. I edited my post, but I sort of asked Gozur to do the work for me ;D

I've been thinking about that 24v 3amp plug...
Gozur, can you check your AC adapter and make sure the ratings aren't that high?
It's obvious that this guy is using those barrel plugs to power these things up and test them. That means he's not just supplying power for the PC. He's supplying power for the whole darn kiosk that it went into. Maybe the PC portion doesn't require that much amperage. Maybe we could get by on a 24v adapter of a lower amperage if it were fed directly into the PC.
Does any of that make sense or I'm I talking about of my butt?
-

The brick that came with mine and the one I sold was a 24V 3a.
I have sent emails to a couple of places inquiring about PSU's that they have that fit this rating. Unfortunately all of the places that I have looked at online so far list the specs and model # but am stuck inquiring on plug type and cost. I did see one online at JAMECO but it more closely resembled a switching PSU like what we'd see in an arcade. This would be a little larger than ideal, but probably not too large. I'll report back all that I find. Unfortunately I didn't bring my brick with me. I may be able to contact one of the others that has the same unit and get some info.
-Goz
-
The one you're talking about is probably really fancy and costs over $50.
I've seen some universal AC/DC laptop adapters with variable voltage and amperage, but I don't know how reliable they are. They've got interchangeable plugs, though. They cost in the $20 - $25 range. If they're good enough for laptops I'd think they're good enough for this.
They only go up to 24V @ 2.9a, though. Do you think that would be good enough? What potential problems would arise from using a brick that's short by 0.1a?
Here's an example of one I found on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=11168&item=6774812452&rd=1
However, they sell these sort of things at just about any PC retailer like Best Buy and Circuit City. I think I've even seen them at Wal-Mart before. The only question is... Is it good enough?
-
I don't think you'd damage any components by not providing enough amperage. Too many amps would be a different story.
In looking online some Toshiba laptops use a power brick that are 24V 3A with a 3.0 mm head. I was a field service engineer in a former life and worked for Toshiba, Dell, Digital, and Micron. Chances are good that I might have one that'll work. I'll take a peek in a few hours when I leave for the day.
-Goz
-
That would sure make things easier.
-
I had to replace the brick for my thinkpad and it was over $100 new. I hope the power supplies aren't that expensive. if yes, we may be getting hosed.
Art
-
Well I already put in my bid on Ebay. Maybe I've just loaded the gun I'll be using to shoot myself in the foot.
I'm optimistic, though.
-
Art I dunno where you bought your power adapter from, but let me be the first to say you were robbed.
Lookit this way fellas, if the unit costs you $75 bucks, which btw, is cheap considering the touchscreen alone would most likely run you that much without a controller and you spend another $25 bucks on a power adapter, you've still got a fully working unit, with a display for right at $100 bucks.
It's better than a laptop simply because it's got the touchscreen capabilities.
For me, this thing is going to make the perfect jukebox for the basement. Small footprint, all-in-one unit means I can make a wall mount unit who's weight is extremely manageable.
-
Oh $25 is not bad for an adapter if we can get them at that price. I think $75 is an outstanding price for the PC, too. But how much would it suck to pay more than 50% of the cost of the entire PC just to power the thing?
I'd build a wall-mount wireless juke except my game room has wooden paneling that comes halfway up the walls. There's really just no room to hang anything anywhere in there. The project would be a snap, though.
I've also got very little counter space for a bartop arcade machine.
-
Art I dunno where you bought your power adapter from, but let me be the first to say you were robbed.
This was awhile back. I bought it new from IBM website. Ebay prices were similar at the time. I just checked and prices are around $20 now.
That's good news. So, let's see, who has an online link where we can order one?
Art
-
Here's the guy's response to my questions regarding pinout and power supply:
The unit comes with the harness. The harness has a large round connector on one end that plugs into the unit and a SCSI connector on the other. The harness also contains a Male-to-Male coax cable.
I frankly admit to you that I personally don't know how to go from SCSI connector to power supply. The testing mechanism was constructed before I came on board. I can tell you that my tester has harnesses connected to some sort of card that is then wired to a Lambda 24VDC Regulated Power Supply. However, I do not have a supply of these cards.
If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks again for your interest.
Honestly, I don't think this guy knows what he's got or how they work. As long as they work, I'll find a power supply to work with it.
-
A SCSI connector? Yeah, this guy is confused...
-
when someone finds the power supply that is needed to power these unit, if you could please post a model #, or link to it.
-
how close do you have to come to the power specs? my laptop powersupplies are 18.5V and 2.7A
-
It looks like there's only a couple hours left and 19 out of the 20 of those things have been bid on. Somebody might get bumped at the last minute. Who gets bumped in a dutch auction? Is it the most recent bidder tied for the lowest bid? I know that's how uBid does it.
-
Well, I hope it's that way and not the other way. I think however, it's those with multiple bids that will get bumped first, i.e. their multiples get knocked down.
-
I've had no luck finding a 24VDC 3a power supply locally.
-Goz
-
Well, I hope it's that way and not the other way. I think however, it's those with multiple bids that will get bumped first, i.e. their multiples get knocked down.
From eBay's notes on Dutch auctions:
Winning bidders will pay a price equal to the lowest winning bid. Winning bids are selected in order of bid price per item. For example, a bid for 5 units at $12 per unit is ranked above a bid for 10 units at $11 per unit. If two bids have the same price per item, the earlier bid is given priority.
You cannot lower your "total bid value" (your bid price per item times the number of items on which you're bidding) if you raise your bid in this type of Multiple Item auction.
Example
For a listing with 10 available items and 2 bidders:
* Bidder A bid for 8 items at $5 each.
* Bidder B bid for 3 items at $6 each.
In this case, the lowest successful bid is $5. So the outcome of this listing is:
* Bidder B wins 3 items at $5 each.
* Bidder A wins 7 items at $5 each.
Cheers.
-
I've had no luck finding a 24VDC 3a power supply locally.
-Goz
Gozur, can you give us the specs off your power brick, i.e. model number, manufacturer, power rating, etc...
-
Based on that dutch auction policy, I'm pretty sure none of us have anything to worry about as far as winning these things.
I'm gonna wait til this thing shows up on my doorstep and I'll probably go with one of those all-in-one laptop adapters I found online. I was looking around Best Buy yesterday, and the problem I've noticed with off-the-shellf all-in-ones is that they don't give you specs. They just give you compatible model numbers. That, and they're like $70! :P
-
And we're at 20 bidders ...
Cheers.

OK ... that was a little strange to watch at the end with the sniper coming in ...

There are angels crying in heaven. I didn't get my all-in-one touchscreen. :'(
That's ok, though. Like I said from the beginning, I didn't really need it for a particular project. Maybe I'll put the money into a third (steering wheel) panel for my upcoming project.
Heck, I've already got a 17" touch screen monitor in good shape. It's just a beast. The metal cage around it is so big I could fit pretty much a full mini-itx PC inside along with the monitor. I've been talking about it. Maybe I finally will...

Looks like the same unit I have the round plug on the right (large round) one on the side is for power.
Hope it helps,

Heres a pic with the back off

The ethernet dongle is connected to that giant plug. I think I would take that off and just make a nice connector. Then I shouldn't need that big nasty plug.

THE PLUG ON THE SIDE IS NOT POWER. It is for the fans only, and will burn them up if you put 24v 3a to them. the only power for the entire unit is in the cannon plug.
Red/White pair = 24v
Orange/Black pair = Pwr Ground

Mine may be a little different, but i doubt it. Mine has worked fine since March with the power brick plugged into that port and all (2) fans work fine.

Where did you get your power supply?

Ebay.....$29
this thing is a POS.....the touchscreen is virtually unusable.
-
FWIW, is there a calibration app for the touchscreen in control panel?
When you're ready to get rid of it, please keep me in mind. I'd be willing to at least help you recoupe your money.
-
Is the viewing area off? Or is the touchscreen calibration off? If it's the viewing area, I don't know what to say. If it's the touch screen, though, there REALLY ought to be some sort of calibration program. If you can't find it in the Start menu, try looking for it in your Program Files directory or in the Control Panel.
Also, check the mouse drivers and the Mouse icon in the Control Panel. Sometimes touchscreen calibration stuff is in there since it's replacing the mouse.
Good luck!

Since there is some question of whether these are the same units as the ones that I, dekdek and a couple of others have. I will say that there is a software program that is installed on my unit (may be different, but doubt it) for this purpose.
Unfortunately I am at my office in the city today and can't just power it up and tell ya the name.

If you can identify the progam and it turns out that others don't have it, maybe you can share the name and it can be found online. then it could be burned onto a cd and installed via a usb external cd-rom drive.
-
maybe your were "modded" for easier power connection.

Anyone else get their tested yet? I'm still waiting for my power supply.
Maybe NJDevils2006 got a bad one? I've seen some positive feedback left on this auction.

i burned one up by putting P/S in side jack, second one is fine though. There is a program to calibrate the touchscreen.

Glad that you got at least one working. (Im)patiently awaiting my PS. Thanks.

i built mine into the wall in my arcade today, and will finish its frame off tomorrow. I have it hooked to the internet, a B&k reciever for audio(with B&W speakers), and to cable. I also set up a USB hub, to which i have attached a wireless keyboard. the rest will just be software. but for now, i am using it mostly as a jukebox and TV. If i can figure how to upload pics onto this site, i will when it's finished.
Side note: i took the audio out out of the cannon plug too, i have identified all of the shielded pairs in the plug, and if anyone wants to save some time, i can give you the color combos.

Aren't you the "I have working Jamma cabs" guy? I'd work out a trade/cash deal. Care to meet half way, say in Missouri? ::)

hey NJD2006. can you send me the color combos? Thanks.

Any news??? I am ready to pay via paypal (i am verified) for an LCD touchscreen. Please email me or let me know! Thanks!
-
Ok you guys, several of you purchased these with big plans!
What happened?
Any progress from anybody?
Did they turn into paperweights for everybody?
Anybody ready to sell theirs?? ;D
-
Anyone? Anyone?
Bueller? Bueller?

Mine are sitting in a box in my garage. I took one apart and removed that awful barrel connector, but never got it connected to my power supply.
Someday....
-
Well I finally had some time to play around with mine today. I got the power connected with no problems which I was glad. Unfortunately the touch screen nor any connected mouse is working on it right now, and as soon as it gets all loaded it automatically goes into a "Choice Seat" sports program where it brings up the title and then just stops, I don't think it is freezing, I think it is waiting to be clicked but not sure. Well I guess I will set it aside again until I find some more time. If anyone else who got one had/has similiar issues and have worked through them, or if it is obvious to anyone please chime in. Thanks
-
read the first page of the paperwork he sent with the comps. It explains how to erase that program. After its gone, it works fine.
-
Thanks, leave it to me to not read instructions. :-[
Edit: Removed the program and all is great. Thanks again, that would have been my last step in troubleshooting, reading the included documentation. Now time to have some fun with it.

I didn't receive the paperwork with mine. Anyone mind sending them along?
NJDevils2006: You mentioned you had all of the pin outs coded. Can you send those to us too?
Thanks
Art

i'll post the pin-out here for everyone either later tonight, or tomorrow. I'm having a busy day working on a few machines i picked up earlier this afternoon. I had to dedicate another room of my basement to my arcade, as i now have 19 working machines.

Here is a pdf file of the included documents. http://www.krolscape.com/projects/a/imdm.pdf
I've got mine all set up now with sound and jukebox software, all that is left is to build a jukebox around it. Once I have time and figure out what I want to encase it in I will start a thread in the projects board.
-
Thanks for that Raleigh. Now if NJDevils2006 would help a brutha out ;D
Art
-
Yeah those pinouts would rule. ;) I have one sitting around also. Need to gitter done.
-
All these things sold, and not a single project posted. Come on, ya'll! This is dissapointing. :P
-
Well I just picked one up off of ebay from one of the buyers on that original bulk deal.
NJDevils2006 can you post the color combos you mentioned for all of us?
It would be really helpful!
-
Bumping back up. NJDevils2006? You out there??
-
i'm back.....been busy with vacations and working on some games. Here is the list of the basics to get this thing running.
Red+white pair: Both = Power 24v
Orange+Black pair: Both Power Ground
Red+Black pair: Red = Left in, black = Right In
Green+Black Pair: Green = Left Out, Black = Right Out
I misplaced Pg2 of my notes, so can someone else post the Com's for the in and out? If not, i can pull my unit out of the wall tomorrow after work.
hope this helps.

NJDevils2006:
Thanks for this. Found out mine is different. I have 2 blacks and a green for ground, 1 red for +24v.
I haven't tried to find the speakers out. But I have a mini socket that I'm thinking might be it.
The keyboard was Ps/2, the mouse is Ps/2.
This thing is freakin cool. Mp3 boom box here I come.

Well, I can't get my USB hard drive to talk to this thing, and my USB wireless thingy won't work either.
It's running Windows98, I thought I found all of the right drivers, but nope.
Any ideas?

Still waiting for mine to arrive, then I've got to find a power supply. Then I can help start troubleshooting these things.

If I'm not mistaken Full USB support didn't really occur until Win98 SE (second edition)
-Goz
-
Yeah, I need to upgrade this somehow, since I was planning on using a USB hard drive.
BUT, I have to save the micro touch drivers somehow too.
Art
-
Does anyone have a Win98 SE CD for sale?
Art
-
Well, I got the ISO for Win98SE, but how the heck do I boot it up on this thing? I have a USB CD drive, but, who wants to be it doesn't work? ::)
Art
-
You can do a setup of Win98 SE via command line. So I'd probably start by burning the ISO on one machine and do a network transfer of all of the file to the KIOSK system then run SETUP.EXE you can run SETUP.EXE /? to get a list of handy switches to do installs w/ or without options.
-
Looks like I got a German ISO. ::)
Art
-
I put an english Win98SE, same thing on my wireless and my hard drive.
Barcrests touch jukebox doesn't work very well on it either.
NJDevils2006. Care to post details of what you did? More memory? Network wired?
Art
-
Lemme guess, memory sticks are clear underneath the boards in back?
Got mine today.
-
i burned one up by putting P/S in side jack, second one is fine though.

I haven't looked. I think I will have to upgrade it.
I have Win98Se on there, and I still can't get it to recognize my OEM USB harddrive case, or my wireless network adapter.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. If Barcrest's Freebox isn't working well, be sure to post over in his other thread. He'll be keenly interested to know, and as you can see by the thread, he's hip on throwing in fixes and enhancements regularly.
Yeah, I've been following that thread. Right now, I get a blue screen on exit. I'll let him know.

Jack, what'd you use for a Power Supply?
-
I've been trying to find the one I bought.
Just got it from paypal, I sent $32 to batteryspace.com.
I DID buy it off of Ebay though.
Universal Laptop AC Power Adapter 15-24V One for all
Item #6778004094

And did you plug into the jack on the side, or did you splice this into the cannon plug?
-
I removed the cannon plug when I got the thing. I seperated out all of the wires. I hardwired right into the power leads.
I had different ones than NJDevils2006. My post above shows the colors I used.
Art
-
Good enough. Just ordered the PS. Hopefully it'll get here soon enough.
-
Got the power supply in. Got it wired up, properly, I think. I based on what I see in the diagram of the pdf file, I've got three grounds and 2 power, so I wired accordingly.
The thing boots up, fans spin up, hard drive starts it's spin up, and then it just sits there.
There doesn't appear to be any power going to the screen whatsover, it's completely dark. I even removed that silver film thingy between the touchscreen glass and the screen as suggested and I've still got no power to the screen.
What'ya think?
Dead screen?
Wired wrong?
I dunno.
-
This is what I had:
I have 2 blacks and a green for ground, 1 red for +24v.
Is that what you found?
Art
BTW WHERE THE HELL IS NJDEVILS2006? At training camp?
Art
-
Yep two blacks, one of which grounds the chassis, and the green. The other black and the green go to the main card where the reset button and other items map over too. I think one says ID Ground according to the diagram in the pdf, and I forget what the other says.
-
i cut the wire on the cannon plug, and splice my PS into the shielded pairs that were inside.
Ninja.....i bought 2 of these comps....and the screen is dead on one of mine too. You hear the comp boot up, but no screen. I haven't had time to trouble shoot it, so if you get yours fixed, let me know what was wrong.

Incase anyone who didn't get one and still wants one, I am selling mine, fully tested and working for $150 shipped to US, that includes the power supply so all you have to do is plug in and start playing. Here is my sale thread: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42992.0

Anyone know if the Win98 disks that came with these have the required drivers? I'm interested in the touch screen stuff and ethernet driver.
I tried my usb 2.0 card in there, with driver and nothing.
I'm thinking of scratch installing this sum ---smurfette---
Art

well if mine actually worked, I'd be able to help you, but alas, i'm out money and nothing to show for it. Of course, I can't go after the guy that sold it to me because I very well could have fried the thing myself.
