And I thought I was the only one thinking about importing it. I'm gonna order mine this week from NCSX (gotta have my Galaga and Dig Dug fix).

How difficult is it to play import games on the psp?
There's no region lock on the games so it's only difficult depending on how much text there is. With games like Namco Museum, Puyo Puyo Fever and Puzzle Bobble, reading isn't an essential part so they shouldn't be a problem.
Just don't import any RPG's. ;D

Hey thats cool Vicious, i saw some on Ebay from a guy in Japan with a bin of $45 with $5 shipping. I think coop would be alot of fun with the arrangement games.
Up to four players can play Galaga arrangements, if thats in Ad Hoc mode and not sharing the same psp then that would be a real fun game with friends. I could play that for hours :)

The PSP is region free and there's also language settings on the PSP. I assume that it'll ultimately be used like the language settings on a DVD player. Certainly for UMD video anyway. Twoud be nice to be able to import Japanese games that then play in English when the PSP is set to "English".
System Settings: System Language: English.
Video Settings: Menu Language, Audio Language, and Subtitle Language: English
I'm probably going to import Puyo Puyo Fever because my family and I are addicted to it. I'm already becoming a Lumines addict.
I hope that homebrew/emu becomes possible rapidly because I want to see Tetris and some other simple classics available without having to pay $40 for each new ports and it's accompanying new 3D version.

I love the Japanese -> English translations on that page.
