Hi Guys again,
Looks like the only way to get a new optics board for my Happ Rotarty is to buy one from Happs which are very pricey.
So therefore I decided to get rid of the rotary and plug in a dedicated 4 way joystick, I have decided on a T-Stick from ultimarc and was wondering would these be good for 4 way games.
Also I have decided to stick two buttons just above my spinner for games like midnight resistance that way I cancontrol the guy with the joystick and the rotating with the spinner using my thumb.
So mainly just asking is a t-stick ok for 4-way games or does anyone know where to get a dedicated 4 way here in England.
Thanks

The t-stick plus is the 4/8 way (switchable from the top) version of it and ultimarc is in england

Ya I know about the T-Stik plus but I was only after one for 4 way only.
I got a super from happs and thats fine for 8 way and my control panel has the mounting hole where the optical rotary was so I was gonna stick it in there.
On a side note has anyone bought the joysticks from Swallow Amusements in the UK, just checked and the shipping will be cheaper for me and cost is a issue, my wife can't understand why I need a new stick.

I cant belive you used this
Swallow Amusements

Only uesd them because its cheaper for shipping.
Guess those joysticks are no good thought.
Anyway I am gonna get a T-Stick plus joystick, also was thinking about getting a PC analog usb joystick and fixing that to the control panel, could I just plug it in to the usb port and use mame like normal, never used a pc joystick in mame before.

The T-stik works well in 4-way mode, but some people don't like the short throw, and stiff spring, on it.
The J-stik is a decent alternative for those who don't like the T-stik.
It has a longer throw, and softer springs.
The J-stiks are also cheaper, and come with the balltops.
