How about a dedicated page for optical devices (Trackballs Spinners etc.), because there are a lot of people asking which they shoud buy. That could give the pros and cons of each one, with links to the sites. What are your thoughts?

I'd have to vote no.
Or else we'd have to have a marquee group, a joystick group (supers vs. competition), a button group (leaf vs. microswitch), control panels (prefab vs. build your own), cabinets group (prefab vs. build you own vs. mod existing).
The point is I want less groups to check in this forum, not more.

It's possible he meant the actual build your own arcade controls FAQ section... the site is NOT just the msg board, ya know =P
It wouldn't hurt to have a reference to point newbs too... but then again if he was talking about a dedicated forum... uhm... i'd vote no too =P

Uh, since the dedicated pages you/he suggests exist for spinners and trackballs here:
http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade_spinners.shtml
http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade_controls.shtml#Trackballs
Uh, I'd assume he was talking forums, ya know :P

No i meant the actual website. I never saw that section before.

<- On the LEFT, Click Controls. Then select Spinner, Trackball, Steering Wheel, or Star Wars type yokes.
Mods to the pages maybe made in the future.
You could also write your one review and post it somewhere and then tell us about it. Or just email it. And on that subject...
<- On the LEFT , Click Reviews. Then select from several reviews of optical devices.
