Title: Cant run moonwalker

I get

C:\mame\mame>mame mwalk
317-0159.key NOT FOUND
315-5437.bin NOT FOUND
ERROR: required files are missing, the game cannot be run.

the same mwalk.zip on my xbox works fine with that mame

I googled for the files, but cant find any reference to them. What exactly are they?

When new versions of MAME come out, sometimes they need a new ROM zip file because individual PROMs were added, deleted or changed.  Are you running the same version of MAME on your XBOX as you are on your PC?

P.S. You can check out MAMEDB (http://www.mamedb.com/list.php?game_id=5308) to find out which PROMs are required for the latest version of MAME.. Unfortunately it doesn't keep a running log of when the PROMs were add/changed though :/ Oh well.

Agreed, be sure to match your mame roms with the mame version, as alot of games I used to not be able to run ran when i set up the matching mame version. Moonwalker....
