Title: WG 25K7194 Diffs
Post by: Mario on March 22, 2005, 10:19:47 pm
Just a curiosity question:

How is a 7194 different from others in the 7000 series? Is it simply a board revision, or is there some different functionality?

The 7191, 7193, 7194, and 7197 are all 25" monitors whereas standard k7000's are 19" or less.

Here are the main details of the 25K7194:

Uses the P632 "up front" remote adjustments board, but early production runs did not have a remote board.

The remote adjustment board harness has individual hardwired connectors soldered to the main monitor board, yet the remote board itself is unpluggable.

When viewed from the rear of the monitor, the metal chassis pan is positioned to the left of the picture tube.

Usually supplied in a "Universal" style frame mount, but I've seen some provided with conventional horizontal ("Shelf") mounts.

Has "P538" silkscreened on the main board (parts side).

Has "P448" silkscreened on the neckboard.

Thanks, Ken. I figured you'd have the answers.
