Title: 80 gig HD - $30 AR
Post by: quarterback on March 21, 2005, 10:28:29 pm: I thought I read a post here recently where somebody was looking for an inexpensive 'small' hard drive. Microcenter has this 80 gig for $30 after rebates. Just in case anybody's interested:

Exactly. One requires the original UPC and the other only asks for a copy.

I think one is from WD and the other is from Microcenter.

I just posted it because i had read that somebody was looking for a small HD. Maybe for an older OS and/or mobo bios, I don't know. The discussion revolved around buying used drives from other people here or buying off eBay, so I figured I'd post the Microcenter info. Not the hottest deal in the world, but if you're looking for a smaller drive, $30 seems reasonable to me.
