Title: advance users, new advmame/menu out

now with the new advmenu 2.4.7, it can play a clip/png before the menu starts. What I like in this new feature it that now the HELP can use clips instead of png file. I' gonna have to revise my still help png file to MNG. Anyone else have or will have their HELP MNG ? I like to get some ideas. Here is my png help image if you haven't seen it.

Any pointers to how to make a better CLIP/MNG from this PNG ? TIA

Thanks for the update about advmenu -- what an awesome FE!

You know what I'd really like to do -- and you you can think of any way to accomplish this please let me know -- I'd like the HELP.PNG to be emulator-specific. I know it's an odd thing to want to do, but I use my HELP.PNG to offer both AdvMenu UI controls and also in-emulator UI controls. And, unfortunately, a few of my emulators don't allow as much key remapping as I'd like, so the EXIT or SNAPSHOT or PAUSE buttons are slightly different in FCE or SNES than in other emus.

I have been racking my brain on this, trying to fake anything via perl script even, maybe manually manipulating the HELP.PNG file... ugh... I am out of ideas.

Anyone?
