http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,150962,00.html
Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?

....White lines.....blow my mind....

What a crook that guy was. It's astonishing the UK government threw so much money his way.
Not bad cars though.

Thought for sure he'd make it to at least 88.

I remember one time when I was in college I was at a gas station. I had a little white 1982 Ford EXP that had had the roof cut off and a custom convertible top put on it. It looked like a 2/3 scale early Musting 5.0, body was mint (it had a 1.6l 4cyl, was so low on power it was nearly dangerous on onramps).
This guy comes up to me while I'm pumping gas and tells me how awesome my car is, where I got it, if I did the work (I didn't). He gets in, wants to drive it around the pumps, he's TOTALLY into my car. I joke with him that the book value was like $6 (which was true). Kind of made my day, dude was so into my car.
I turned around and saw the he had driven up in a DeLorean. I almost wet my pants. Dude drove up in a freakin DeLorean and was that into MY car.

I did... he told me I'd probably have to throw in a check for $20,000. If I had one I probably would have done it. That car was awesome.
It had a radio with motorized faceplate... that was made in 1982. So ahead of its time. And it was really cool to be able to put hands on the stainless steel body.
