Title: side art for bartop cab
Post by: Nailz on March 20, 2005, 12:48:35 pm
As you may have guessed from my other request for help, I am getting close to finishing my cab and am needing to put some sideart on it as well.

My question is, since I am doing a wood cab, and tehn painting over it, what would you recommend I do my sideart with and how to make it stay on?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Marty

Depending on how far away you are, I may be able to help. I'm about to finish my bartop as well, as I was thinking of using  clear vinyl with the artwork printed on it.

I think that a few people have used vinyl to good effect, but the "No Quarters" pirate cab (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,33894.0.html) that Nocturnaloner has made has a good tip - only getting the sections that you need made (As opposed to lots of blank space), so as to minimise the cost. I'm thinking of going down this path.
