Hi all,
Was trying to take apart the Happs optical rotary I received last week but couldn't get it apart. I removed the clip at the base, encoder wheel but the shaft still wouldn't come out. There is a plastic spacer underneath the base that won't move and looks like it's got some type of fasteners in it. I think it need small alan key or similar. Does anyone know if this is right and what size I need. The keys I had were all way too big and I couldn't even fit a srew driver in there. I do have smaller screwdrivers which I might try tonight if I don't get a response.
