can someone give me a list of the best pc driving games?
-
why ... you are 3eyed blind. 8) :police:
I crack my self up.
really I would like a list also. ones that support the sidewinder steering wheel
-
Try some of the following:-
Colin Mcrae Rally 2005
Need for Speed Underground 1 & 2
Crazy Taxi 1,2,3
Star Wars Podracer
LegoRacer
Trackmania series
I have all of these games with my favorite being NFS Underground. Some support Force feedback and require high end PC's while the others run on quite low systems.
Others which I do not have and are supposed to be quite good are:-
TOCA
GTR - FIA
Flat Out
Moto GP3
Try somewhere like gameplay.co.uk for a much more in depth list.
-
Are the Trackmania games cabinet friendly? I have a feeling they may be?

You forget the greatest of them all...
GRAND PRIX LEGENDS!!!

Yes, althought I am not a fan becasue the older cars just turn me off, GPL is generally considered the best PC driving game (simulation) to date. Also pretty good are the latest two EA Sports F1 games.

I never got it to work with a 360 wheel (mouse). But I was running the demo and don't know if it was only availible in the full retail version (or if I never found the configuration).
Other then that... looked fun.

The entire Need For Speed series

I would get F1Challenge 1999-2002. As you can download tons of mods for the game.

Also, as SirPoonga said, the Need for Speed series always got exceptional reviews although I never tried them. I always prefered more of the sim type games as opposed to actual game games.

F1 Challenge 1999-2002: why is this so dang rare and expensive on eBay? Does it wipe the floor with Grand Prix 4 or something?
Need for Speed Underground: I humbly submit that #2 is so much better than #1, don't bother getting #1.
Why would Grand Prix Legends turn off any true racing fan with its old cars? If anything, it might discourage people with its DIFFICULTY, but dissing old cars is like dissing The Stones and Led Zeppelin if you're into hard rock. 8)

*Takes off hat to show reverence towards the Stones and Led Zeppelin*

I always liked "Viper Racing" because you could go into 4x4 mode and drive anywhere. For LAN racing, Need for Speed is waaay better. Does NFSU2 support LAN?
"Midtown Madness" was always fun on a LAN. I don't think Midtown Madness 2 ever made it to PC did it?

Because numerous mods are still making this a game fun.

Hey there,
If you are looking for some cool driving games, then I would recommend, you try some of my personal favorite games, which I played at bgames.com and found very interesting. These are
Hummer Racing 3D
Ambulance Rush
4 Wheel Madness 3 and
3D La Supercars

No better promotion than posting in dead threads from 8 years ago.
Not sure whether to post a Thread Necro meme or make a bunch of posts so the word VIRUS appears in search results for your site. >:D
Wow, crappy flash games...... gee thanks.
