Guys is there any work-around for the 'video/sound is not 100% accurate" nag screens in the newer mame versions? I was running an older version that noname mame had covered and it had an option to get rid of them.
I just updated my rom set and it looks like noname hasn't been updated in sometime so I can't go that route anymore.
Being a heavy Galaga user that screen is REALLY annoying.

You have to disable the screen in your FE. I'm using MAME32+ and I can disable that screen from appearing.
-
or do a search for Buddamame's own compilation of Mame. It has all the disclaimers and warnings disabled.

Go to the BuddaMAME link in my signature, then go to BuddaMAME source and binaries. I have version .92 and .94u1 posted.
The links may change so I don't want to post a direct link here.
The warnings are not turned off by default. You'll need to add skip_warnings 1 in your mame.ini. I presume you already have skip_disclaimer 1 and skip_gameinfo 1. Also, you'll want to add the standard skip_validitychecks 1, which is a recent addition to MAME.

Thanks guys, ya it's the skip_warnings that I'm missing.
Budda I like to try your compilation, do you have a .91 version? that's what I'm running now.

There is a link to it on the first page of the "MAME Movie Maker" thread.

So would this work also for v.67?

I currently do not plan to support v0.67. The earliest that MAME Movie Maker will work is about 0.85, that was when the -wavwrite option was added.

Currently BuddaMAME is windows only because there hasn't been a DOS MAME build released since 0.91. As soon as there is official DOS 0.92 source I'll try to make BuddaMAME work on DOS. Once that is done, I'll attempt to build xmame.

So what do i have to do just extract this into my mame directory and that is it?

Not all Windows programs have a GUI.

is there a way to get the rom to load automatically with out having to press "ok" or "any key to continue" as well in MAME?? As i changed the mame.ini that was suggested in this thread but that screen still comes up.
