So the last step in building my cab involved putting my monitor in, I broke it. So I have decided to go with a TV. My cab has space (barely) for a 27" tube. So I reckon I need a 20-25" TV to fill the void. Can anyone reccomend a descent (cheaper) TV?
It would be cool if I didn't have to rig the power switch to the main power as well.

I'll defer to the more
senior experienced ;D folk round these parts, but depending on what "broke it" means, i'd probably look at fixing/replacing the monitor before buying a tv.

The tube is shattered right at the yoke. Definately useless.

buy a tv (or arcade monitor) and sell the chassis for that thing on sci.electronics.repair or something--given the scarcity (and high price) of aftermarket monitor parts you may just get a taker. if I thought it had some parts i could use I would buy it but i only have viewsonics to fix and no gateways (especially like one you have)
