Title: WTB: custom artwork for cocktail mame
Post by: Wade on March 15, 2005, 11:01:05 am
I have this cocktail Mame game, and I think it is time to hire someone to make some nice artwork for it.

http://webpages.charter.net/wadelanham/arcade/mamecocktail/index.html

I don't want to spend a fortune on art, perhaps $25-50 or maybe a trade (I have a fair amount of parts, such as buttons, sticks, wiring harnesses, coin doors and related parts).

I want a retro theme.  I like the fancier modern themes, but in the interest of keeping this simple and inexpensive, I think I want something that is pretty basic, but professional (and original... retro) looking.

The artwork parts I need: control panels (both the same except Player 1 needs the two start buttons identified), cocktail underlay (same for Player 1 and Player 2).  The underlay could have the instructions included, but I'd also be open to having a separate instruction card which would be under the glass just below the monitor.

After we come to an agreement on price and style, I will provide measurements of the control panels.  I just don't have them handy.

For now, I'd like to see who would be interested in this, and possible examples of similar styles for me to select.  I have seen some styles I like, and I will try to dig them up and post them in this thread.

Thanks,
Wade
