Title: Chassis question

Just got my new monitor + chassis (in pieces). The chassis is an Entron ET-999A and is marked as 'Free Voltage'. Does this mean it automatically detects the input voltage or that it has to be adjusted manually to the correct voltage?

I know this may sound like a 'duh' question but I want to be 105% sure before I start the thing into power sockets. In case it's relevant, it's going into 240v.

I've never heard of that brand, but many of the chassis that don't require an isolation transformer have a jumper wire in the power input section that you need to move to set the range. Usually it's wire you unplug from one post and move to another post. One will be 90-120 VAC and the other would be 200-240 VAC range.

Of course there are some chassis that adjust themselves.

It says 110-220v where the power cord is soldered on and I can't seem to find anything that resembles a jumper. The two fuses are 2 and 4A. There is a pot with B+115v below it which may be something.

I would suggest talking to Joey there at the jomac website since he would be familiar with that brand.
