The top inch or so pulls to the left and there seems that there is less signal strength there as well.
I have installed a cap kit, also replaced R70,R71,C30,C31 Here are a few pics

Try adjusting the 50/60 hz pot and maybe turn the contrast down a bit. Also check the horiz hold adjustment may be a tad too far one way or the other.

That looks exactly like how my monitor used to display.Cap kit did not solve problem and I had it completly serviced by a local arcade monitor wizard. He replace fuses redid a bunch of the wiring to neckboard and resolder a ton of bad solder points. The bend is now gone, wish I could be more helpful but the cap kit didnt fix my issues.

I noticed you are using advmame.
Have you tried your monitor with a game board or a arcadevga card???
I've had a perfectly good monitor display like that with advmame, and had to change video cards to get a good pic.

yeah I'm using advmame I also get the same thing in windows on that monitor i am using matrox video card and i also have a arcadevga card and from what i remember that one did the same thing ...It's kinda weird because only on that one inch strip when i go to try to square the top with the other 80 percent that is all ready straight it will come over but the bottom of that one inch strip that is bad want line up and vice, vers

Here Is What Wells Gardner Relpied, Will try and see if it corrects the problem will order parts and let the forum know if that works
thanks for getting that info for me. now from past experience that problem is usually caused by a cap in the horiz phase circuit. majority of the time it was capc28 that is parallel to r69. if that doesn't correct the problem then change c29, c30 or c31. and as a last resort change ic2. so give that a try and keep me informed on your progress.

my monitor had the exact same problem just at the bottom of the screen instead of the top. A slight tweak to the 50/60hz pot fixed it.

The 50-60hz pot only controls the vertical on the picture .....This is a Horzontal problem....I have ordered the ic2 chip to replace ...having trouble finding c28 which is
5pf 20% 2kv npo ceramic capacitor any one know where i can get a few....????and a good place to purchase components for boards...
by the way if anyone is replacing ic2 bob roberts has them for 6 buck
happs have them for 12 bucks plus 10 buck for orders under 25.00....

Is that the one? I assumed 2kv is 25 volts...?
Otherwise, just go to www.digikey.com and use their online parts finder.

don't think it is 25 volts. Kilo means 1000 so 2kv would be 2000 volts
Still no luck on finding one though. Seem like someone would have some . Is pf value and uf value the same and if so what is the conversion since i need a 5pf 2kv ceramic capacitor what would the 5pf be in uf standards. Another question does anyone know if u can use a different value in that spot C28...Some Please help me find this cap....thanks to all that have helped thus far.....By the way did get the ic2 chip and installed and it help a little not much at all though.......
