Ouch... I regret that it was time to let this one go.
A while ago I got a 2nd Turbo Sub yoke and I did the MS Dual Strike hack to it like I did my 1st one. This yoke is actually much nicer than the one I have on my own MAME cab cp, it looks like it just came off the line in '83. The history behind this yoke was that the Star Wars cab went to a warehouse in '85 to become a Turbo Sub conversion, but since that game never actually made it into circulation, this yoke has been in that warehouse since then. Hardly any use on it at all, and it shows! It is absolutely beautiful, no kidding. The pics seriously don't do this one justice at all.
If I had the time, I would have kept this yoke and sold my original one, but I just don't have the time to mess around with my MAME cab like I used to and it's time to make more room at the Oscar household so I'm selling off some of my stash again. Hopefully one of you guys can make better use of this yoke than I did, it's been sitting on my shelf for too long now.
Any questions, please feel free to email me.
Thanks,
Kelsey

I was just coming to post about this...
C L E A N !
-
CC - Yes, it is extremely clean. A very nice example of a SW yoke, no doubt. I'm already kicking myself for auctioning off this one instead of my other one. :'(
-
thats a sexsay beast
-
Oscar, the truth of the matter is that the Star Wars yoke is gonna bring you some sick cash. What can I say? Sex sells and that things is beautiful. Especially the topless photos. ;)
-
that thing is almost up to 4 bills.
-
HOLY SNIKIES!!! $396. What was your reserve???
-

Heh, good one! :)
The reserve was $175 and I honestly didn't think it would meet reserve to tell the truth. That didn't really bother me, either, since I wasn't looking forward to selling it in the first place. I was hoping that I would have a chance to keep this one for myself and sell my other one instead because I doubt if I will ever get my hands on another original yoke as nice as this one. At least someone will get it and use it, rather than me just leaving it on a shelf for who knows how long...
-
should of given it away in a contest....a contest rigged so only I could win.....or a raffle......a raffle rigged so only I could win.....or a lottery....a lottery rigged so only I could win...or....
-
A raffle would have brought even more cash now. But thats hindsight. Which as we all know is 420/420 or something like that.
-

-
it's over 400 now....and there is still 5 days left. incredible, if gamecab.com doesn't jump on this obvious economic vacuum....then he isn't paying attention to the mame scene.
-
I knew I should have made an offer for it when I saw it years ago. You where complaining that you never used it at the time.
It was probably worth keeping it for the increase in resale value. Back in those days, you could find perfect ones on ebay for less then 100 bucks.
-
it's over 400 now....and there is still 5 days left.
-
Now I want a Yoke.....
-
$445... you can buy the actual game for that price!!
-
That is some monster cash....I wonder what it will end up at.....My guess would be over the 500 mark. Great ebaying though!
-
The price is getting unusually high.
-
The price is getting unusually high. I hope they aren't just playing with you.
That could be, but there's no way to really know...
However, I have already received one offer to end the auction early for an amount greater than the current bid is at right now. :o I won't do that, though, because I hate it when I'm watching an auction and the seller ends early.
-
not to mention it really isnt too fair.
-
$445... you can buy the actual game for that price!!
Uhm, no you can't.
-
not to mention it really isnt too fair.
Absolutely, I believe that 100%.
If I didn't want to be fair, I would have just set up a raffle rigged so only Hoagie_one would win, or a lottery, or contest....
-
that would of been ok.....but ending it early....thats not fair
-
Wholy moley, now I wish I would have bought that bargain one from paige that he sold for around 250 I think.Congrats on the profit,---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- if people pay that for a good working yoke more power to you.I want a nice yoke for my arcade but not that badly. Now I think the act-labs gun for 240.00+ is reasonable.
-
Maybe a star wars yoke should become a new addition to the Oscar Controls product page. ;D ;D
-
As every month passes I thank chance more and more that I bought my Star Wars yoke in a group of stuff about a year ago...
-
Just wondering what you used to case the sidewinder?
-
looks like your standard hobby case they sell at radio shack
-
....wow....despite my drama w/"Mr. Arcade"....my yoke for $250.00 seems like a quaint bargain!.... ;D
MameMaster! 8)
-
what is running the USB? Is it an AKI or dual strike Gampad hack?
-
dual strike i think.
-
Correct. See the first sentence after the photo in the original post. I know, I know, you were blinded by the beauty of the yoke and didn't see it.... ;D
-
Ok, you can quit playing now. Just cancel the auction adn sell it to me for .... i dunno, how about $5
-
Oh thats one hell of an offer! Make $440 profit or sell it to Hoagie :P
-
OK....$10
-
up to $540! :o :o
-
Holy hell!! And you didnt think you'd get $175!!
Well I won't ask you to sell it to me for $10 bux. However, since you're makig so much more than you expected, you can feel free to send over a spinner or two... since you didn't really want that much to begin with and all ;) :P
-
Seriously though....grats on the fine sell. Damn nice Yoke.
-
Thanks!
While my basement may now be a little cleaner physically, mentally I almost feel a little dirtier... It did go for quite a bit more than I had expected. On the other hand, I really have never seen another yoke in as good of shape as this one either. In any case, I'm sure the new owner will be very happy with it, it does play beautifully.
-
So what are you going to do with that cash??
-
He's going to buy us all supplies! Don't feel bad mentally, people bid on something because they want it and they have a price they're willing to pay. Luckily, you are one of few in the supply chart whereas there are plenty in demand. Nice find :)
-
LPZ'S THE MAN...........I called it right....OVER 500...................congrats..............you deserve it...............buy yourself a beer, or a cheap bottle of wine!
-
Wow!
