A user named "snoogans" uploaded a very good vector of the Ms. Pac Man side art.
After a quick peek against a big scan Ihave, it's pretty detailed & accurate. I have a few source pics to compare it to... which I haven't done yet, but it looks good for now.
The colors on the other hand...I would like to confirm the colors against any known "good" values since this is such an oft-requested piece. There are 2 different versions, the original and the 20th. The 20th has a much deeper blue. I'm not sure what the original colors were, though. I'd like to post one of each.
Any help would be appreciated.

That was me....thanks. I've lurked here for quite a long time now, but never felt the need to post. Also, found the vector library the other day and figured I could help.
Sorry about the colors, I also have no clue what the original colors actually were. Haven't seen one in years. But, there is a 20th where I work. I can check the actual color and see if I can get a little but closer.
Also, I finished the Gyruss marquee this weekend, but the size came up as 65" wide, which I know is way too big. Any clue on the original size or should I just upload it as is?

Just upload it and make a note about it. It'll be fine.

I shot this picture today, built an ICC profile for the camera and applied the profile to this shot. That color is accurate for the RGB color space. Now the conversion to the CMYK color space is a different story. If there's anything else I can do let me know.
-
The original used 4 spot colors, I'm sure, so cmyk vs. rgb, etc is pointless. Just leave it at rgb. Any printhouse will convert it with their rip as necessary.
That's a 20th cab in the pic right? I believe the original WAS differnt colored... closer to your posted one, I'm just not sure if those colors are as accurate as they can be for an original art set. We should probably post 2 different version. One accurate to the original, and one accurate to the 20th cab.
There's some pretty good color reference scan / pics uploaded at the AAL.

Yeah, it's a 20th. Every time I've let a printer convert my work it's turned out horribly. No big whoop though, RGB it is.
Now that I've updated the file, I looked for the ability to update files in the AAL. I may be blind, but I didn't see anything. It's probably smart not to let users mess with the files that are there, but if I need to update a file how would I handle this?
-
Probably;
1. Log in.
2. Go to your file
3. Click "edit"
According to the settings, uploaders *should* have the ability to edit their files but not delete them. Sure this COULD lead to abuse, but normally, the people that contribute do so out of a desire to help, not hurt. The need to edit a file does not come up often, but when it does, I would prefer to stay out of the loop for efficiency's sake.

Well, it will allow me to edit the comments, but the "edit image" field is just a solid blue box.
-
OK. PM me with a download link, and I'll fix it.

I have a Ms pac front decal will that help?
-
We already have a vectored version of that, but if you want you can check your version against our vectored version to confirm its quality (or lack of)
-
I thought you wanted the colors
-
20th or original?
-
original.
I got this before the 20th came out.
