I know this must have been asked a thousand times already, but are there any good arcade game remixes out there apart from the handful on OCREMIX (http://www.ocremix.org/detailsystem.php?sysid=23)? I'm surprised their list of arcade remixes is so small compared to all their other systems ???

I really want to know where the MP3s came from that come with Kymaera. Those rock!

They're the ones on OCREMIX. There's also a bunch of Street Fighter remixes and some Tetris stuff. Most of them are really good, but I just wish there was a broader selection. Damnit, I don't have the time or patience to learn Cubase again!

Oooh! Found an excellend megamix called 'Mame Theme' - it's streaming from this beautiful site (http://www.dirtysanchez.fr.st/), but no sign of it in downloadable form.

You could email the site author for either:
- a download of the original music
- the authorization to record it off the stream.
It's trivial to record music off a stream, just get the free Audacity program and record the wave output of your sound card (for most sound cards you don't need a cable or anything), then you can encode it to whatever format you want (I do MP3 using the Lame pluggin for audacity). Just make sure that no other program on the computer is going to make a sound while you record (like incoming email notification) or that would get recorded too.

OCREMIX has like 500 or so remixes

Yes, but it seems like 400 of them are from Final Fantasy. I'd like to see more classics remixed. I'd remix my own but I'm afraid it would sound similar to a Ross song from Friends.
