Thats right can you say POWERGLOVE.
-
Uh, dude, I would have sold you a totally refurbed NES with those games and a NEW connector and the glove for less than that.
That glove is totally gay, I've had like 4 of them, they work horribly.
-
Hey , the powerglove rocked. besides the price I got it for is about what you'd normally pay on ebay. and way better then I would get at funcoland.
-
That's not a bad price for that lot IMO.

I managed to score a powerglove for Christmas when they first came out and had done the movie tie-in with The Wizard (I think that's what it was called). I was only like 10 or 11 years old and was SOOOO excited. And then I played with it for a few hours. I think I cried when I asked my mom if we could take it back to the store and get something else. That thing was an abomination. Nintendo should feel ashamed that they took advantage of a bunch of little kids like that.

It really is a piece of crap.
-
Yes, but what do you really think?
-

Everyone must remember the 2 hour nintendo commericial....

HAHA thank you for that, that review is hilarious.

Ive got a great power pad if you like , its the best  :P ;D
-
The power glove was only good for one game, Punch out, and all it did for Punch Out was make it really hard.
Remember the Robot? That sucked too.
Power pad sucked as well, could have been good, but there weren't any good games for it (DDR and Pump proved that Power Pad games could be good, its just that Nintendo never made any good ones.
I find it amazing that nintendo would ship that crap, but they never managed to release the disc drive setup that half the launch titles supported (the save and load menus in Excitebike, Wrecking Crew and others).

Yeah I'm going to have to agree with the whole Powerglove hating going on.
I was so excited, I spent a TON of my paper route money on that piece of crap, and I used it for MAYBE one day. It was just IMPOSSIBLE to use, it didn't work well at all, and it made the whole gameplay experience much worse.
You'd figure Nintendo would do some testing and market research. I know about 20 people who had them, and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM hated the damn things.
I actually liked that track & field game w/ the power pad tho.
Cheetah ain't got nothin' on me ;D

The powerglove was a software problem. Hack it to a PC interface and it can do some really great stuff.

Yeah, but it's so cool looking. :)

That's Nintendo marketing 101

Hmm. Never heard of anyone doing this. Have you done it yourself?

Cripes, rain on the guys parade man!!!
I don't think that price is too bad. Now I'm regretting selling off my NES. I had TONS of games for that thing, even the Dragon Warrior games (which I sold for pretty good money on ebay).
Let us know if you hack that baby ;D

I'm surprised no one's pointed out that Nintendo didn't sell the PowerGlove. Mattel did.
