Right,
After using mame32 for the past two years and having just built my first cab I think its about time I got mame running from DOS.
Ideally I would like a boot screen on start-up to choose to either boot into a front end such as mamewah and also a choice to boot xp as im also the same computer as my everyday PC.
Does any one have any links to create such a bootscreen and do I need to install DOS? I used to use DOS years ago but have forgotten almost, if not all of it.
Is there also any laymans tutorials in easily setting up a front end? Mamewah in particular unless there are any other recommendations.
Thanks (",)

you wanna run mame under PURE DOS ?
If so MAMEWAH is a WINDOWS proggie.
You need to get another FE for PURE DOS.
You need to Install DOS, get sound to work under PURE DOS then everything will fall into place easily after picking which FE to choose.
