Title: how to remove XPs' boot screens?
Post by: los on March 07, 2005, 01:06:20 am
hey guys,

I'm trying to track down a way of cleaning up what you see whilst XP boots. Basically all i want to see is mamewah pop up once it loads. I know how to remoce the XP logo, but i can't figure out how to remove the crap blue "welcome" screen that follows. Also the glimpse of the desktop you see before mamewah loads is kind of annoying.

If anybody can help, please do

LoS ???

Why not use hibernate? The PC boots in a few seconds directly into whatever program was active.

Another solution is to install an Act-Labs gun (if you can find one), as the screen stays black until the gun is initialized.
